Name Sign

What do you get a baby who is the 4th girl and doesn't need clothes or toys?  Well, I decided to make her a unique name sign for her room.  We have a western theme for her room and crib bedding with sunflowers. This was not an original idea, but I wanted to share how my version turned out.
  Materials:
barn wood -you can use any board that is the cut to size. If you like the distressed/ aged look you can find lots of tutorials on how to make faux barn wood).
rope
hot glue gun
felt flowers (if desired)

I cut the barn wood to the right length. I used an old lasso rope we had lying around. (You can also use jute or any other rope that is flexible enough.) I had to cut the rope in a few places to make it bend how I wanted to shape the letters.  I just hot glued it down as I went.  I made the felt sunflower to give it color and make it more feminine.  There are lots of tutorials on making felt flowers. I used this one sunflower tutorial.  Enjoy creating!
